Time for VW Hibernation!

For Deeside Classic Campers it is the end of our FIRST FANTASTIC SEASON!

A HUGE thank you to all our customers and we are looking forward to meeting new ones next season!  We will review our first year in full over the next few weeks.

So what has Deeside Classic Campers got in store for the Winter months? It is time for Hamish and Fergus campers to be tucked up cosy in their barn to enjoy a well earned rest.  They will be titivated and tickled with servicing and much earned TLC before they are polished, decorated and gleaming to be on show at the Wedding Exhibition at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre on Saturday, 17 and Sunday 18 January 2015.

We are currently having a “New Camper” built to add to our fleet! He too, will be on show at the Exhibition.

Other companies drive their VWs throughout the Winter months, why don’t Deeside Classic Campers?  Well here at DCC we recognise that:

  • We love our customers to have excitement in our campers.  However, with the potential of ice/snow, we just don’t think the roads are safe enough for our customers – we wouldn’t want you having too much of an adventure thinking you are driving a “bob sleigh!”
  • Hamish and Fergus do not like salty roads – wet salty roads are the last thing our VWs need – salt can play havoc with the paint work & under side of the campers.
  • Although our VWs  have heating – Hamish requires an electric hook up for his.  Most campsites are closed for the winter months.  Our campers don’t have four wheel drive to get you out of that snow drift!

………and most importantly for us – we want a couple of months to work on our award winning fleet to ensure they are in absolutely perfect condition for the 2015 wedding/touring season!
